About Igor Meshcheriakov

Igor's passion for melody and sound emerged at a young age. Born and raised in Vladivostok, Russia, he immersed himself in the thriving Music scene surrounding him, regularly exercising his talents through various projects related to Music and Art. Upon arriving in Canada, Igor remained focused-in on his skillset by enrolling himself in two separate music programs: earning an Introduction to Commercial Jazz Certificate with Humber College and completing the Audio Production Program at Harris Institute in Toronto.

Igor's skills have been sought out for numerous projects, working as a Boom Operator and Sound Mixer for the innovative web series, "CodeSwitch," and being retained as Sound Designer for the Independent Short Film, "Unidentified Female Object." He's performed as an Audio Assistant, setting up stage productions, prepping mixes, operating live sound, and as a Music Scorer for the short film "Need Some Light in Purgatory," which was highlighted at the Toronto International Film Festival of South Asia. Igor has been composing, co-producing, recording, and mixing for his original band, MOT, Most recently, though, Igor received Best Sound Design award in 48h Film Festival, Toronto.

Currently, Igor is specializing in the art of audio editing and mixing, while continuing to apply his dynamic skillset wherever else it's needed.
